Russian Phoenix
is an action/adventure fiction book that is filled with
international intrigue, mystery and futuristic technology.
The protagonist, Mikhail Andropopov becomes the youngest
Commissar of Gulags in the new Russian Government but he
wants the old government back. He hates what the world has
done to Russia, as it is now a third world country. Their
currency is worthless and capitalism is running rampant.
He hatches a plan to make a New Russia rise
from the ashes of another's misfortune. His plan is to restore
Russia as a powerful, respected and dominant country. As
part of his master plan, he selects 7 beautiful women throughout
7 countries around the world and marries these women. None
of the women know about the others. He impregnates each
woman and bears seven children - 5 sons and 2 daughters
- all born within a month of each other. The children will
be the glue, the cement, that will raise his beloved Russian
Phoenix from the depths of the ashes to create a new Russia.

When the children are one-year-old, the
families are brought to a secluded prison called the Stalin
Gulag in Russia under the guise of bringing each family to
live with him. Once inside the confines of the Stalin Gulag,
he separates his children from the wives and throws the wives
into Lower Level Eight, an unimaginable torture chamber and
the harshest level of the prison. The wives are never heard
of again. The mothers simply vanish from the face of the earth.
In the prison, they are starved and tortured and there they
die. Unknown to Mikhail, his American wife Betty escapes and
goes back to America with enough hatred inside her to pursue
the downfall of Mikhail and end the cruelties he imposed on
mankind.
The children grow into young adults and are
given every luxury and convenience known to man. They are
tutored and groomed for their roles in Mikhail's dream of
Russian Phoenix.
When his children turn sixteen, he begins
to seriously integrate the idea of Russian Phoenix into
their daily study regimen. Each child is observed, carefully
noting their physical stature, personalities, weaknesses,
strengths and unique abilities. Then their special abilities
are emphasized and developed to the maximum.
Mikhail's favorite son, John, the son of
his American wife Betty, has been listening too much to
his tutor who fills his head with negative thoughts about
Russian Phoenix. Unable to change his mind, Mikhail assassinates
him in front of his siblings. The assassination is a fake,
Mikhail secretly sends him off to the United States to further
his education, enter law school and eventually end up in
a high government position. John's position in Russian Phoenix
will be to assist Mikhail in counter espionage information
during the birth of New Russia.
When his other children turn 26, they have
been trained to assume high government, military, finance,
intelligence and assassin positions in the
Russian Phoenix dream. The Andropopovs travel to
Iceland and invade the island. Iceland will become their
New Russia. They land a massive army to separate the northern,
eastern and western areas of Iceland from the south. They
form an iron tight perimeter around the southwest area isolating
the city of Reykjavik, the largest populated area, from
the rest of the island and the world.
Once the invasion is discovered, President
John Robinson of the United States calls together the leaders
of the ruling world powers to discuss how best to assist
the Icelanders in taking back their island. It is decided
that each country will assign their two best special forces
officers to serve in a newly formed covert military unit
called the World Elite Force.
Mai Lu, Mikhail's Chinese daughter, betrays
her family and assists the Americans in defeating the Andropopovs.
A huge frontal battle ensues between the Phoenix Army and
the Americans while the Elite Force team travels to Iceland
with the mission of eliminating the Andropopov family.
The World Elite Force confronts Mikhail and
his children in their temporary headquarters building. A
deadly martial arts battle ensues and the Andropopovs are
defeated, but Mikhail and his Mongol son, Tomor escape to
a southern island. They are picked up by a Phoenix submarine.
Russian Phoenix crashes
- along with Mikhail's dream... at least for now.
There are many twists and turns throughout
the novel. In the end, Mikhail who has escaped to a small
island, finds a telephone and makes a call. When the phone
is answered, he says, "This is your Papa. Russian Phoenix
has been defeated. I will meet you in Colorado in two months.
Is that convenient?" The voice on the other end says,
"Yes, Papa." Without a word Mikhail hangs up and
the President of the United States hangs up on the other
end of the telephone.
The sequel, From
the Ashes, will involve John Robinson, President
of the United States, disappearing. Both he, his brothers
and Mikhail undergo plastic surgery to alter their appearances.
Then they escape to Montana where they buy hundreds of thousands
of acres and set up the largest Land Development and Cattle
Company in the world, all entirely legal.
Bo Braze spins an all-out heart-pounding
thriller that pits the world against the most vicious and
powerful criminal since Hitler.
The Russian Phoenix
will rise again from the ashes, but it will be in the United
States. The sequel, From the Ashes,
continues the dream of Mikhail and his Russian Phoenix.
